Meet the team

Michelle joined James Todd in 1997 and as Managing Director she leads the firm’s day-to-day direction and operational development. Working with the leadership team, she drives sustainable growth whilst maintaining the service standards clients expect. She is passionate about coaching, developing people and embedding smarter ways of working across the practice. Her constant energy and focus turn strategic ideas into meaningful, practical improvements across the business.

Kevin is a Director and Co-Founder, known for integrity, technical excellence and a long-term vision for the firm. He brings a wealth of accountancy experience with particular expertise in construction, property and estate planning. Clients value his clear, practical guidance and proactive approach. Kevin is closely involved in the business, helping to guide its direction and ensuring its values, standards and client-focused service stay at the heart of everything it does.

Brian has been an integral part of James Todd since 2004 and, as a Director, helps keep technical excellence at the heart of the firm. A qualified, experienced accountant, he supports managers on complex issues, improves internal processes and promotes consistency. Brian is committed to developing the team’s confidence and capability to deliver strong client outcomes.

Oliver joined James Todd in 2010 and as our Audit Director, leads the firm’s audit and not-for-profit function. He helps advise clients in these areas, strengthens audit procedures, improves consistency, and supports the development of the firm. Oliver also contributes to business development, meeting new clients, and playing a key role supporting growth through acquisitions.

Kirsty joined James Todd in 2011 as a trainee accountant, she qualified and then progressed to Client Services Director. Her career path gives her a deep understanding of the firm, its’ clients and how the practice operates. She plays a key, behind-the-scenes role, in shaping and supporting the systems and processes that underpin an excellent client experience. Kirsty also manages her own portfolio of clients, providing trusted advice and practical, proactive support.

Julie is based in the Fareham office and joined James Todd in 2024 following the acquisition of Leonard Gold, the practice she previously owned. She brings over thirty years’ experience and strong technical expertise, providing clear, reliable advice. Julie leads and supports the local team whilst also managing a large client portfolio with her practical, approachable style. Having run her own practice for many years she has a strong understanding of the demands of being in business and is passionate about helping clients to succeed.
